Eve Bodeux

Eve Lindemuth Bodeux has 15 years of wide-ranging experience in the translation and localization fields. She has focused on managing large multi-lingual projects for target markets in Asia, Eastern and Western Europe, the Middle East and South and North America. Her extensive experience building international project teams includes managing linguists, desktop publishing professionals, quality assurance and engineering staff, graphic artists, and foreign-language voice over artists. Eve also keeps her understanding of the nuts and bolts of translation sharp by personally engaging in French to English translation for select clients.

Eve has presented numerous times at the American Translators Association annual conference since 1995, as well as at business and educational institutions in the US and Europe. In the past she served as editor of the ATA’s French Language Division newsletter and is currently the Vice President of the Colorado Translators Association. Eve taught classes in localization for James Madison University for four years. She has a graduate degree in European Civilization from the Université de Nancy 2 in France, an MA in International Relations from the University of Virginia, and a BA in French and Political Science from Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania.

Eve is a localization consultant with Bodeux International. Loving the outdoors also plays an important role in Eve’s personal and professional lives and she adds to her resume the position of Director of Project Services for Adventure Translators. Adventure Translators is a translation agency that services the outdoor and sports industries. She can often be found skiing, sledding, hiking, biking, running, jumping, skipping and just plain having fun outdoors in Colorado, Alaska, France and elsewhere with her husband and two bilingual sons.
