Description: Now that you’ve made it through your freelance startup phase, are you thriving or just surviving? In this webinar for intermediate and advanced freelancers, we will talk about how to increase your earning power with agencies and increase your visibility and name recognition so that direct clients come to you when they need a translator. We will look at how to use social networking tools such as LinkedIn and Twitter to expand your base of contacts and how to find similar sites for your non-English language(s). Strategies for thriving in a down economy, improving your writing and editing skills in the target language, and expanding your range of services to diversify your income base will also be covered. Participants will identify at least four key growth areas for their freelance businesses. Corinne’s presentation of this session at the 2010 American Translators Association conference sold out, so reserve your spot today!
Cost: $35.00 through October 5. $40.00 from October 2-11; registration closes October 11.
