Glad to be here. I am a technical translator in mainland China. I came to know a your site through a friend of mine. It is exciting to see how translators make their presence known to other people through the use of internet. Anyway, it is really my hope that you can do more to publicize our profession to more people !
Such good news. I don’t know if I will make it but I am glad to see there are more people out there dedicated (notwithstanding the juggling) to their work trying to do what’s best for themselves and for their families. Translation is as challenging as having a family. And of course as rewarding. Good luck everyone!
Thanks Magda! As always we will post a podcast of the call afterward, so you can listen to it then!
Great topic. I’m really interested in what the panel will have to say. Unfortunately, I’ll be fast asleep during the live call (I live in France). I’ll definitely catch the recording. Good luck to all!
Hi everyone! I would be super-interested in attending live. Do I only need to connect following your instructions or should I “book” an e-seat somehow?
Thanks Martina! You don’t need to pre-register; as long as you call in at or before the call time (not late), there should be spots open. Remember to double-check the time because the US “sprang ahead” last weekend.
great! I will be there! Can’t miss it!
Hi Corrine, very interested to join, this is a great opportunity
Thanks for the invite! Looking forward to the call!
I just missed the interview because I only now realize that NY changed the time to 1 hour early to daylight savings! I live in Johannesburg, South Africa and I checked the time difference between the 2 cities last week. It was 7 hs, but now it happens to be 6 hs!! is there anyway i can listen to the interview?
Thanks Patricia! We’ll post a recording soon!
Thanks once again for the invite! Interesting and enlightening!
Hello Corinne,
Would be so great if you could post the call recording. So much willing to listen to that.
Thank you!
All the best,
Olga
